Hello from a Newbie!
Just wanted to say Hello! Hope you don't mind me joining in. I've never stayed at one of your beautiful cottages, though I've seen them. I've been to Tybee many times. Tybee is my most favorite place on earth. Maybe through this blog I can share a lifetime of memories and stories about my times at Tybee.
It was the title of Mary Kay Andrews' book, "Savannah Breeze" that caught my eye a few years back, so I just had to read it, and I've been hooked ever since. I've read them all now! How ironic I had a cousin named Eloise (my Aunt called her Weezie) and she lived right there in Savannah with us when I was little girl! What a coincidence!
And my favorite paragraph was when she described how Savannah Beach (now Tybee) was back in the mid-70's. My, did that bring back some memories.
As I said, I've been coming to Tybee, on and off, for a very long time. I've seen a lot of changes, some I like and some I don't, but that's progress. But I'd love to share my memories with you, if you'd like to hear them.
