Hope you are all having a great 2009 so far! Just wanted to share a little "fact story" with you regarding the infamous tree you see us sitting in (see pictures). That's me, my niece, and great niece all taking turns on that wonderful old tree on Tybee! This was their first trip to Tybee, but as I mentioned in my first post, I've been coming to Tybee for many years. Forty-five to be exact! Hard to believe that the first time I sat in that tree, I was five years old, and in the pictures you see here I'm now fifty! Time flies when you're having fun. I told them this was the best place to sit and watch life on Tybee, or to let emotions run wild. I've been the happiest of my life and the saddest of my life in that tree...if only that tree could talk, I'm sure it could tell some tales. I always look to see if that old tree is still standing every time I get to Tybee (which I try to do at least a couple of times a year). I hope to get there soon, I feel it's time for some R&R (what I call refreshing & renewal) time on Tybee! Hope you all have a wonderful spring...
